Rory Miller’s own words about himself:
I have been a Corrections Officer, a Sergeant, a Tactical Team member and a Tactical Team Leader; I have taught corrections and enforcement personnel skills from first aid to physical defense to crisis communication and mental health. I’ve done this from my west coast home to Baghdad. So far, my life has been a blast.
I’m a bit scarred up, but generally happy.
I’m the author of “Meditations on Violence: A Comparison of Martial Arts Training and Real World Violence” and a few other things.
There are a limited number of spots available for this program and it is being offered on a first come first served basis. You do not need to be a student of martial arts to benefit from this program.
Rory Miller has agreed to open the program to youths aged 14-17 with a parent or guardian signed up to take the program. The youth must be a student in a martial arts program. Below is a link to Rory Miller introducing himself and discussing his teaching philosophies.
Since space is limited, full payment is required by Wednesday 7 June 2017. No refunds after that date.
